Lou DeSerio Announces
Private Photography Workshops!
Lou DeSerio is now offering private workshops for the serious enthusiast. After more than 25 years of workshop tutoring, DeSerio has determined that the most effective and beneficial method of advancing understanding of the true Art of Photography is one on one assistance.
In this special arrangement, participants will have DeSerio's undivided attention and be able to acquire pertinent information for their personal desires at that time.
In this manner, participants create their own agenda and curriculum! The pace is determined by the individual and there is no hesitation on the part of students to inquire about areas that are uniquely personal and necessary for understanding and mastering various concepts they want to expound upon.
There is no limit to each individual's needs in this manner. A day can be reserved or several days may be reserved to allow for the broadest agendas possible; from basic camera operation to the most advanced printing procedures.
DeSerio can assist those interested in black and white photography as well as color in traditional photography as well as all aspects of digital imaging including scanning, image editing and digital printing.

Topics covered during this weekend will include discussions on proper lighting for dramatic presentaion, exposure and use of exposure meters for maximum quality, choices of film selection and their applications, camera and lens selection and thier use, flash settings and techniques, depth of field and lens adjustments and composition in various aspects of design and arrangement for visual impact!
Each participant simply requests an application form and sends it in with a non-refundable deposit ($250) to secure a mutually agreeable date(s). Day rates are based on an eight hour day but times may vary to account for different times of the year as well as the interest of the participants. Short notice workshop dates are possible. Generally we will schedule times to include sunset rather than sunrise!
Once day(s) are confirmed, payment balance ($500) will be due at least one month in advance for final commitment.
Day will commence at Southwest Photography Gallery, located at 211 N. Hwy 89A in Sedona. Each participant will receive a folder including any printed handouts, notepaper and pen.
Participants will need to bring their own equipment, film(s), or tape recorder. In general, comfortable clothing, shoes and any other personal requirements are the responsibility of the participants.
Daily Fee: $750.00
Includes: Local transportation, permits, and lunch.
